Exhibition
The exhibition intends to help people understand what is underpinning the current work to hunt for a vaccine for COVID-19 and other diseases and the content educates, informs, and enables audiences to make choices after visiting the exhibitions. To do that, we provide context – where did viruses come from, how did we first discover and understand the nature of viruses, how can we fight them and what can we as individuals do to prevent the spread? It also highlights global issues through a series of programmes & events, digital and learning resources, etc. for enhanced public engagement and understanding of the vaccines.
The exhibition is designed in a modular manner, which can if necessary, enable changes to interpretation and content based on major new global developments in the vaccine story. It will remain open to change but it also must keep in mind the content is not solely driven by the ongoing global pandemic. The exhibition will look at vaccinations more broadly with a historical and contemporary view – the degree of each based on the audience.
