National Science Centre Delhi, a unit of National Council of Science Museums-NCSM, Ministry of Culture, Government of India celebrated “World Immunization Week” from April 24, 2023 to April 30, 2023. “Film Show”, “Open House Quiz”, “Poster Making Contest” and Guided visit to the exhibition “Vaccines Injecting Hope” were conducted as a part of the celebration. The theme for this year’s  “World Immunization Week” is ‘The Big Catch-up’, which is to ensure more people, around the world, are protected from preventable diseases. Global partners announced the new effort – “The Big Catch-up” – to vaccinate millions of children and restore immunization progress lost during the pandemic. ‘The Big Catch-up’ is an extended effort to lift vaccination levels among children to at least pre-pandemic levels and endeavors to exceed those.
